Unpolished Pearl - Copyright (c) 6/7/08 by Dan Sharpe.

Put her down and break her heart,
be a tyrant from the start,
burn her joy in efigy,
snuff out all the light you see.

Bitch, and whine, and pick apart,
criticize her works of art,
steal her balance, don't let her see,
that you're nought but misery.

She's a God breathed word of art,
a poem born in His own heart,
meant to shine for all to see,
and she means the world to me.
