Silenced - Copyright (c) 4/27/08 by Dan Sharpe.

You opened her eyes,
and silenced her heart.
Did you ever realize,
who she was, before you hurt?

She painted a portrait of you,
with the brush of a love filled heart.
Her heart's shining gift to you,
you left lieing in the dirt.

She saw your reflection,
in the mirror of her heart.
And earned rejection,
as you walked off to flirt.

In her eyes, you shined,
until you broke her heart.
And her broken heart pined,
but now she'll make a new start.

Simon and Garfunkel - Sparrow.
