Frozen Fable - Copyright (C) 7/3/08 by Dan Sharpe

In the grip of a killing frost,
her heart's final beat is lost.
As she lies frozen in her pain,
she wonders who will stop the rain.

Will a soft wind dry her tears,
will a warm Sun melt away her fears?
As she lies sleeping in despair,
love's prince bows to kiss her hair.

"My love, waken, like the dawn,
rise and caper like a fawn.
Sing a duet, my love, with me,
make our life a symphony."

Will love's sleeping beauty wake,
or his heartfelt prayer forsake?
I guess we'll have to wait and see,
will you rise and answer me?
