Blue Rose, Bloom - Copyright (C) 7/20/08 by Dan Sharpe

The beauty of the rose,
is concealed within the bud,
and so it slowly grows,
tended by the gardener's love.

Until that well loved heart,
slowly starts to bloom,
as its petals start to part,
its fragrance fills the room.

If you are like the rose,
all curled up, inside,
then take heed of this prose,
'Cause there's no need to hide.

It's time for you to shine,
for all the world to see,
I know that you'll be fine,
'Cause you are a rose to me.
